FUSION Joint Venture – HS2 Recruitment Delivery

Advance TRS successfully partnered with the Fusion Joint Venture for HS2 recruitment delivery, successfully supporting recruitment requirements including Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Planners, Project Managers and Document Controllers.
The Fusion Joint Venture was awarded Area Central of HS2’s enabling works contracts. Advance TRS supported the Fusion Joint Venture HS2 recruitment delivery, enabling essential preparatory groundworks to some 100km of the phase 1 route, before the commencement of major civil engineering activities to be completed.
Resourcing requirements range from design and build, demolition, ground remediation, advanced landscaping, habitat creation, utility diversions, ecological design and build, site clearance, environmental, ecology, soil and ground investigation, demolition and archaeology.
“Whilst in my position of AWE1f Package Manager for Fusion, working on the HS2 Project, I had the requirement to deal with several employment agencies to supply my team of 30 staff, one of which was Advance TRS.
During this time, should there arise any issues with their contractors, these were resolved quickly and efficiently, however, should this not be possible, then they would contact me to explain, or to discuss the way forward. They were always helpful and friendly, with the utmost professionalism, so as to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. I cannot recall any issue taking more than 10 days to resolve successfully.
Should I, therefore, have a need to employ temporary staff in the future, I would certainly recommend to the procurement team that Advance TRS be included in the list of Employment Agencies to be engaged in the supply of Contractors.”
