Advance-TRS is delighted to announce the appointment of their new Chief Executive Officer, Paul Metcalfe. Joining us with immediate effect, Metcalfe is a renowned industry veteran with a career spent managing recruitment companies spanning more than 25 years. He is the co-founder and former managing director of one of the industry’s largest recruitment businesses and was instrumental in growing the business from zero to £150m in just 12 years.

Advance-TRS hosted a launch party at Devonshire Terrace in the City of London last Thursday, surrounded by many of the industry’s top executives. Speaking at the launch party, Group Managing Director, Andy Ridout conveyed his delight to the packed crowd about the new appointment.

“I am very proud to have attracted someone of Paul Metcalfe’s experience to join us here at Advance-TRS…He brings an incredible wealth of experience to the business and I’m delighted to have him on board.”

Metcalfe’s unique industry expertise will help take the company to the next level says Ridout. “Paul’s main remit is to help Advance-TRS sustain its growth plans through a series of mergers, acquisitions and organic business growth.”

Metcalfe added; “When I decided to move on from Fusion People I spoke to several recruitment businesses but was particularly taken by Andy’s ambition and energy. His drive, together with Advance’s culture fits in well with my personal vision as it offers recruiters the opportunity to develop their careers by offering a consultative approach to the clients rather than just being job fillers.”

Advance also announced the launch of their new executive interim business, Advance Interim.
